We'll take solace in the fact that a grumpy old Jew with a funny accent and an incredibly low national profile turned over a third of democrats into self identified socialists in about 6 months while going up against neoliberalism's strongest machinery.
And again, libertarians aren't real. Paul didn't lost his father's coalition because he strayed from free market orthodoxy but because this go round he wasn't the most fascistic candidate in the race.
No one but like ~100 business execs and a bunch of pothead upper middle class kids like free markets. Free markets suck. All the youngs love socialism

Rand acted like a jumped up little shyt and was stupid enough to attack the very popular front runner a big beast. who ripped him to pieces and humiliated him on the debate stage. Not only that, he decided to make friends with neo cons in the senate, and went against much of what his father stood for. And many of this fathers fans jumped on the trump train and never got off. Shows you how bad a candidate he was,that his fathers former support preferred a boorish progressive nationalist to him.

I was telling everyone that him endorsing Romney left a bad taste in a lot of people who rode with Ron's mouth. While I believe that Rand is the best candidate of anyone running, he lost a lot of support from those who were hardcore Ron Paul supporters. The thing that I hate regarding the media and these debates are they make things for entertainment. Truth is, in a debate about real issues, I don't think Trump wanted any of Rand and he wouldn't be touching Ron, but at the end of the day, it is what it is. Vote local brehs/brehettes.
