Can Kentucky field a democratic canidate that can possibly win the seat? If he gives up the dream of being commander and chief, isnt the senate position guaranteed to him for life?

Give up your ambition for now and come back in 4 years. You wont be on tbe ballot then. You can use the time to antagonize Hilary.

Kentucky democrats are running their thoroughbred in the govenor's race this year. I don't think they believe Paul will seriously jeprodize his senate seat for his ever more quixotic presidential campaign

I figured as much. The presidential campaign is a money grab.

Why is Lindsey Grapham running?

Who knows? Some think he wants a Secretary of State or defense post in the next administration and he hopes to play kingmaker in South Carolina to help his cause. Except he barely polls even in SC. I guess he thought he would catch on better than he has

Trump really did a number on Rand Pauls campaign by taking his populist, Washington outsider, anti-establishment lane.

It's a shame too because, even though I don't agree with Rand all the time, he's one of the few politicians in this race who focuses more on policies than rhetoric and he's the only candidate running who isn't in bed with Israel.
