I mean, Brian was only champion and on TV for roughly 45 days from August 2013 to August 2014. The Network was sloppily planned before his reign and hasn't picked up steam all the way to today. I think blaming the WWE's lost in profit on him instead of the Network is a bit disingenuous.

If the success/blame is strictly on the champion, where is Orton's and Punk's blame for the dismal numbers through out their reigns? And why not give Rock props for his great numbers as champion?

And let's not forget HBK's title reign when WCW was beating the shyt out of Raw in the ratings.

All you need to say breh. :shaq:

Remember how the WWE had announced the network release date a full year before it was even ready to debut then they just acted tike that never happened. Ridiculous :snoop:

WWE Brass have that "doing without thinking" mentality. They stay working but never take the time to plot out a course or process to go and end up spinning their wheels half the time.

I think WWE got too stupid for being too smart.

I can't say if WWEN will fold one day, but they provided the blueprint for like ESPN and HBO to create their own entities in the future from WWE's initial launch failure. Just because you know the big cable networks want to eliminate more money by having contract deals with providers.

The Network is a great idea, but they just didn't have the content or the details planned out before launching it. The WWE seem to always jump into something head first without thinking about the long game and with such a risk like this, it bit them on the ass. I hope it works out in the long run because I don't want the company to fail, but I do think a wake up call is needed for the arrogance they have running the ship.
