Just hope those boys play like their potential will be and not timid (saving themselves for the next draft). It's not football, but players do that sometimes.......This is the one year we probably have for the next few years to get to a Final 4. The season after next will be a rebuild.

yeah Pearl is gonna have to have like 4 or 5 underclassmen come in after this. If they come out with that same energy like they did last year, its them and Kentucky this year.

Purifoy is really just a big guard. Don’t think Pearl wants him back in the paint. I think Heron saw he was coming back and just decided to leave cause Purifoy was gonna get a bunch of minutes this year.

Saw him against Omari Spellman and he had 30 in one half on him. He’s a killer when healthy.

I don’t think he has to play in the paint, he just has such a great physical advantage depending on where we run him at. I think he’ll play the 4 and he’s quick enough to make things happen there. And like you said he does have the game of a 2 guard. It’s just he didn’t get the chance to play last year when we created a system. His first year was just chucking between him plus Heron and Wiley found possessions between them two. I hope he can adjust mentally
