Kudos to Patrick Ewing on his first win.

He won’t have a lot of them, but at least he got his first one out the way.

:picard: I know it’s early in the season, but Xavier looks like a beast on the court.

Back to back 100 point games and they did it so effortlessly.

All this drip on me
Since the season is starting to be in full bloom now, lets get a way-to early season litmus test going on ...

Drop y'all personal rankings and predictions.

My rankings which is based on how I good I feel they'll be by the end of season:
  1. Arizona
  2. Michigan State
  3. Kentucky
  4. Kansas
  5. Duke
  6. Villanova
  7. UNC
  8. Wichita State
  9. USC
  10. Louisville
  11. Texas A&M
  12. Miami
  13. Cincinnati
  14. Florida
  15. Xavier
  16. Purdue

  19. Missouri
  20. Alabama
  21. Virginia Tech
  22. Gonzaga
  23. Seton Hall
  24. Notre Dame
  25. UCLA
I think Arizona is the best team in the country and has the best combination of NBA talent and experience. Arizona is winning it all this year. Also Alonzo Trier will be in the race for POY.

That's rock solid.:ehh: We pretty much have the same top 7 just a few in different spots and I notice most people are basically universally agreeing about who the teams in the top tier will be this year. Unlike last year where we have a team like Gonzaga pop up and enter the elite tier after not being highly ranked in the pre-season, I don't think their will be an elite surprise team this year and the National Champion will come out of the elite group we named.

Btw as you can tell I'm extremely high on Arizona, if they stay fully healthy I'm confident Sean Miller is getting his first ring this year.:wow:

The only team that isn't too highly rated right now that I could see making a run is Seton Hall.

That's how I felt about Zona last year. Even though this team is better on paper, they don't have another Kadeem Allen to lock down their opponents' best player. I'll keep monitoring their defense as the season goes on but it hasn't been very impressive through the first two games (it's a small sample size though).

As much as I don't like his game, Akot might be that guy.

Damn. E.C. Matthews out 4-6 weeks, dude can't stay healthy or he'd be a first round pick.
