For my money Tony Bennett is the best college basketball coach in America. We don't have a team of 5 star and 4 star recruits like most of the teams in the top 10 but year in and year out he has us amongst the best in the nation. If he ever lands a 5 star NBA type talent or two I think he will win a national title sooner than later.

I still think if he can keep that recruiting class of Guy, Jerome, Hunter, and Diakite together he can get to a final four. I thought they'd have a shot at it in 2019 or 2020. They're a year ahead of schedule.

He's up there too. But he gets more talent to work with than Bennett does.

Year Team 5-stars 4-stars 3-stars and below Blue Chip Ratio
2018 Villanova 2 5 3 70.00%

**Edit** Couldnt find UVA's roster that shows their ratings out of high school but im assuming they have plenty of 4 stars in the stable.

When's the last time you seen UConn on TV? The AAC doesn't really have a spot where you know you can catch their games. Even the A10 has a solid base on NBCSN, Mountain West you can find them on CBSSN, Big East got Fox and FS1 and CBSSN, ESPN and CBS got the other huge conferences, B1G has their own network in addition to everything else. They have a solid top heavy conference but they get lost in the shuffle. Even on the women's side, if Geno didn't schedule the way he does out of conference, you could never take their records seriously now because after their non conference schedule is over, they're basically on vacation til the Sweet Sixteen. At least when UConn was Big East Geno had to face off against Rutgers and shyt.

UConn is on TV all the time actually. and whenever they play a throwback big east rivalry game, its usually on CBS or FOX.
and the AAC gets just as much/if not more burn on CBS-SN than the big east.
and ESPN-News seems to be the unofficial home of ESPN's AAC games.

I kinda see what youre tryna say tho. they don't have that NIGHT or timeslots that other conferences have.
and yea, the AAC is the conference equivalent of "NBA Hell". they don't get the looks & respect like the power 6 conferences, but its too good of a conference for anybody to come in & dominate. and for some reason, they rarely get more than 2 bids. I don't know why they don't at least get A-10 or MWC props.
