I feel like this situation either gonna bury the concept of college for elite prospects (short term) or gift the NCAA a few more years to figure out a counter

If they can afford 3 guys on Kuminga, Brown and JG's tier, and round out that team with some middling 5 stars, every season, the product is gonna get to an entertainment point where prospects are watching that more intensely than college ball. Alot of HS hoopers now are more in tuned with overtime or ballislife over 99% of college programs and players (up until March)...

the only thing I would read into JD's latest recruiting is that he's more willing to go out of state, which didn't seem very likely about half a year ago. he also intentionally made hubbub out of including Michigan into his top teams

Meanwhile, the NCAA’s case against LSU basketball crawls on. No Notice of Allegations has been filed yet, multiple sources confirmed to SI. Previously, the NCAA has submitted NOAs related to the federal probe to North Carolina State, Kansas, Louisville, USC, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and TCU. NOAs are believed to have been submitted to Creighton and Auburn, but the schools have refused to publicly acknowledge them. Alabama and Arizona remain under investigation as well.
