Random College Basketball Thoughts: 2021-22

they were shaky all day shooting and they were only down two so I understand wanting to get the ball down low but that was an awful possession. Not having a timeout really hurt them

yeah having no TO hurt them. because that two man game wasnt working.
its just breh made that 3 earlier with very little room
then to catch it on pass back and not be ready to shoot was wild. like when he caught the ball back from post and got the screen that seemed like enough room to put up a look
idk how good breh is but if he is player of year in conference i'd expect he's able to get that shot off

They seem to crack under any pressure. Doesn't help that Coach K don't coach and gets them no easy looks. Their last shot at getting Coach K any jewelry this year is to win the NCAA tournament.

Speaking of the tournament can anyone explain why the committee can't wait for all the tournaments to be done before they do their seeding? What's the rush besides meeting a TV schedule?

because conference winners automatically get bids...so if a team like Richmond wins they may kill an "at-large" team's bid. Because Davidson had a good enough season, they will make it regardless.

So if Davidson wins, that means Richmond goes home and a spot is free for an at large team
If Richmond wins, both Make the Tourney so an at-large team stays home

Not to mention the suspense in the announcements gives them an excuse to hold a tv show and make $

man watching these major conference teams on bubble, needing help get in and stuff
like i know these coaches get extra to make the tournament
but for the school and stuff i'd have a tough time wanting to pay that
its like you did just enough school work in class to get that C grade

it feel like that for the major program coaches. for these small schools sure, with the limited bids they get if you pull off that bid pay that man the extra
