College basketball has the worst officials ever, they call 5-10 charges a game where the defenders feet aren't even set

You don't have to have your feet set to take a charge.

kinda discouraging that y'all couldn't take advantage of Banchero out and Williams catching that BS 3rd foul, but your guards were tremendous. Timme cost y'all. Probably losing 1 more game the rest of the season, so y'all will be fine.

Gonzaga? Other than Alabama (in Seattle), they'll breeze through the rest of the schedule.

I'm talking about in the NCAA tournament. The odds are they won't see each other again. Good test for each team today though.

That will be more Duke's fault than Gonzaga's but of course, still real early.

I know but in college they favor the defenders way to much. Alot of the times the defender cuts underneath the offensive player late as hell and gets the charge even though the offensive player beat them to the spot and was already in the shooting motion. Basically if the defender falls down they calling it a charge

They only have to attain legal guarding position before the offensive player leaves the floor. They tried to make it "upward motion" for one season and it was mostly a disaster.
