My Pops Forever RIP

You just can't hire alumni for these jobs, especially legendary ones. If it doesn't work and you fire them early, you risk alienating them forever.

All good just a year ago :francis:

They were trash last year too. They just happened to go on a cinderella run in the Big East Tournament. The same in theory could happen this year.

Same is about to happen at Memphis.

I'd pick Jabari Smith number one and wouldn't look back. The tools are there. Son of a former pro, hard worker, unselfish and the measurables are all there. During the non-con I saw all of the pro moves that are simply not avail due to spacing in college. I'd kill for him to end up in San Antonio (but doubt they win the lotto).

If they can mold him into a well rounded playmaker for others like they did with DeRozan and Dejounte, Jabari would be incomprehensible lol

how you think it’s gonna work out the Primo kid?

Primo has talent no question, he just has to improve his ball-handling. I noticed when he gets stopped on a drive, he immediately settles on his shotmaking ability (of which he has a lot of talent). I am basically saying if he can stop giving up his dribble so quickly and use angles better, he can be a great scorer. His shot mechanics are super nice for a guy as young as he is, but its off the bounce that will determine his future. I like him though.
