That's not the point, attractiveness for women is way more dependent on physical attractiveness that it is for men. When was the last time you heard a dude say he was fukking with a chick cuz she has a good sense of humor or cool interests? Maybe a small minority of men date women for reasons other than looks, but most guys are with the women they're with because of the physical
The earlier dude said were naturally more confident. You said its because our attractiveness is based on wealth or whatever. The average dude isn't wealthy or famous/well known.

Then explain why we are equally as comfortable (EVEN THOUGH the avg male is not rich) as women are insecure (BECAUSE the avg woman isnt gorgeous)
If what Makaveli says is excusable...the avg. man would be walking around in suits, fake jewelry and handing out Goldman Sachs business cards to make himself seem wealthy and important...for this is equivalent to women using makeup to look better based on the fact status and wealth is to man as beauty is to women.
Wealth and status can be acquired through hardwork, every man has the potential to be a millionaire. Beauty is more of a result of genetics than anything else. I'm actually in debt right now but I could very easily be making six figures within the next ten years, we have no reason to be insecure about wealth because it is easily (more or less) attainable. What can a chick who doesn't fit the beauty ideal do to change that (short of getting plastic surgery)?
