Random Landings in thread.

When I click on a thread, I end up on a random page and random post of the thread. I went through my settings and made sure that it is set to go to the first page and first post, but it almost never happens that way. Im always somewhere in the middle of the thread, not even last page, last post.

I have it set to 50 posts per page, and The Coli as my color scheme. Hope that helps.

EDIT: If I click on the page number directly, there are no problems. It will go to the first post on that page. The problem only happens when I click on the thread title. Google Chrome also. I think that's all the info you may need.

where are you clicking on threads? from your usercp? from the forum main page? from within a subforum (locker room)??

I just tried it. Works fine if I choose a forum first. It only happens from the main page.

main page will bring you to the last known spot in the thread that the forum thinks you've "read"

unfortunately the system we use in order to save server resources doesnt keep track of this very well. its the same reason your user cp & subbed threads doesnt update very often
