Joe Crispin. :wow: He played in the league for a hot second. Saw him play at random courts in South Jersey. Maaaan his Jay was super wet. No exaggeration. I remember one time in doors, this cat was pulling up from half court and draining them. Some from behind the half court mark. He'd bring the ball up court and if you was guarding him up close, this cat would just shake his head and pull up. shyt was demoralizing.

ya'll talking about journeymen, what about old nikkas. How about I still see Calvin Murphy, who is 65 damn years old still give dudes that work! I ain't talking about just shooting either, although he can hit consecutive free throws for about an hour straight. I'm talking about stop and pop, old man crossovers (the kind where you don't dribble between your legs, lol) and layups. He don't get tired either. I honestly believe he could give any NBA team a good 3-5min a night, 4-6 points.

Matter of fact, you go up and down the Rockets organization of retirees you could put together a nice squad. Hakeem at 50 would still be a top 10 center in the league today, he's beastly the few times I saw him at the gym. It's almost unfair for him to hoop with regular dudes, I think working out NBA bigs in the summer time keeps him sharp. Moses Malone too! My god! This old man here. On the journey man side, Matt Bullard would give most regular cats the blues with his jumper. And although his lanky ass never posted up a day in his life in the NBA, don't think he won't put that Shaqnosis on the average big guy at the local gym.

My goodness, no he would not.

Come on guy, there's only like 6 legit centers in the league right now, although there was some hyperbole in my statement, it's not that far fetched. But let's leave it alone as not to derail the thread.
No more derailment than just to ask you to remember his last days as a Raptor. That should answer any further question about whether he'd be a top 10 center twelve years after that.

One of the best threads we've had in a while.

Some college players I'd like to hear stories about: Louis Bullock, Erick Barkley, Marcus Knight, Drew Neitzal, Ed Cota, Rashad McCants, Trajon Langdon, Tractor Traylor, Shawn Respert, Toby Bailey, Miles Simon, Khalid El-Amin, Juan Dixon.

this dude LAVELL BLANCHARD who was the most average dude at michigan (after being gatorade national player of the YEAR in 99) and didn't make the league, will DESTROY YOU :mindblown:

Lavell Blanchard wasnt average though on Michigan:dwillhuh:

He was the best player on their team his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior season and 2nd best player his Freshman season

*edit* You meant average overall, compared to OTHER players.....my bad breh:snoop:

Yes, he was just an average player. Michigan was just down at that time.

Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
There's a subdivision outside of Atlanta in East Roswell that has a small community center....On any given Saturday morning you can run with several pros for free if you just act like you live there or sneak in the back door ...

Travis Best
Kevin Willis
Brian Oliver
Mark Price
Pig Miller
All 4 Barry bros

Drew Barry is the most impressive of all the brothers in person...Crazy how he never stuck in the league..Kevin Willis is super cool and still in NBA shape.. Everytime I go back and visit my parents I try to make it out there...

Cant forget about Chris Doug and Malik Hairston, CDR Gives nikka the buisness in the hood.:whew:
I've heard Bout cdr goin off never seen it. I remember Hearing about flip Murray doing work when he was here and mike james. Mike was probably one of my favorite bench players we had.
