I think he left miami solely for business reasons. going back home, becoming the hero again, and ultimately leading them to a title....it was a great plan that would take his brand to a whole nother level. he knew the spurs would be older....he knew there really wasn't anybody else who could challenge them. but he had no clue the warriors would become the force they are now. steph curry is the new face of the league and bron's "homecoming" storyline has been completely forgotten about. he returned to cleveland for all the wrong reasons and now he's miserable. if he really went back because of the burden he carried in miami, he should have spoken out instead of going back to a place he didn't want to be at. now he's stuck there for good. if he leaves again it would be a major hit to his legacy. he's done so many things this season to show he's not happy on that team, and I think the decline in his game is proof of that. he used to take pride in working on his game every summer and coming back stronger than ever. now it's like he doesn't even have the motivation anymore. when his contract is up, he just needs to say fukk the legacy, fukk business, fukk the media.....i'm going wherever i'ma be happy. because it sure as hell isn't cleveland.
I really think it came down to power in the organization as well as business reasons. I think he hated that the Heat would give him legit criticisms about his game. The only reason he went to the post more is due to Spo and Riley getting on his ass telling him he needs to get in there. I think he hated having anyone stand up to him and not do anything he wants but also his teammates. I think now that he's away from the Heat's disciplined organization to one that's completely chaotic he's missing it a lot. Probably why you see him acting out so much just hoping somebody steps up and gets the situation under control.

My Pops Forever RIP
So you believe he'd still be the same player in SA

Twofold

He'd either shape up or shape out. There's no guarantee he'd stop being what he's been his entire life: hardheaded.

Also, any time someone says that it's as if it should happen. Cousins ain't a Spur. Life ain't fair. What do people who say that want Sacramento to do? Donate Demarcus to the Spurs for the sake of basketball? Make the best of a situation and if shyt is toxic beyond your control, handle your business. In this case, neither has been accomplished, so he and them are nobody to feel sorry for.

Fam had it made in Miami. It was a mutually beautiful relationship that worked out for all sides. It didn't get too much better than that but he though it could. Female tendencies type shyt This dude took a major gamble and it's not paying off for his baskrtball legacy. Financially, dude is never going to lose so it is what it is.

Miami has a way better chance of beating the breaks of the East while coasting for years to come, and then beating the Warriors, OKC, and the Spurs than the fukking cavs

Explain how his legacy was effected by the move ? This Heat team with Bron isnt wining any titles, maybe not making it TO the finals...Hes in no worse a situation right now in CLE than he would be in MIA...

Cavs are East favourites for the next few years, its no guarantee with a declining Wade that the Heat would have been...He didnt know and nobody knew Whiteside was gonna emerge as a post threat when he left so cant really say nothing about that..

Hes in no worse position then if he stayed...I dont get that point unless its sour grapes :manny:

Hes not gonna win anymore Finals. He would have had a better chance at winning more with Miami. That's why.
