Ainge took a combo guard that probably would've been available for our 2nd round pick and even then he still wouldn't have been the best player on the board
TO also took a PG when they have Joseph/Lowry and they need another four(patterson is trash) You guys are lucky Stevens is a hell of a coach. Ainge is

It's weird cause it seemed like the league was down on him even though he was basically an elite defender.
He's averaging 9 rebounds in 24 minutes, I'd say that's pretty good. His hands might be worse than Kwame Brown's though.
He's had one of the highest rebound rates in the league for the past 2-3 years I think. He's an elite rebounder by definition.
Offensively... His hands are bad. He can't be on a struggling offensive team. Just too much of a liability. Still love him though.

he was giving Jason Maxiel minutes over Biz last year. Our best stretch of that season came from when Biz was starting too.Thing is, we had TERRIBLE spacing last year because of our WOAT shooting - a guy like Bi who doesn't need to be guarded at all on a floor that congested is gonna look a lot worse on offense than he really is. Doesn't help that Kemba is an atrocious passer to cutting bigs in general. Also, we played Al at the 5 so... he felt that Biz and Al just couldn't exist on the floor at the same time. They literally NEVER shared the floor together here in Charlotte. Not even once.
I understand why we let Biz go. Did I want him to leave? No. Guys like him just don't grow on trees. Better to have him and not need him than need him and not have him.
Sixers putting the beats on the Lakers again won't be nearly as satisfying with Kobe out of the lineup.
