C's would be giving up 2 good defenders for one in return and a declining Love, while the Cavs lose a stretch 4 and get Crowder who probably wouldn't get much playing time with that frontcourt and Smart who would only be useful for defending guards
well they idea is that love is still an All NBA player, just in a shytty offense. Uptempo offense where he gets it in the post is more fitting to him.
Boston could still land simmons and play him at the 3. They have to give up Crowder because he's the only really good player the Cavs can get back, and can contribute with. He fits that team more than Love does

Crowder's too good (and now too well paid) to be LeBron's backup getting bit minutes here and there. Crowder's one of the few real good value deals out. Remember, in that proposal you're asking Boston to take on Shumpert's big ass deal too.

That Cavs game legitimately had me wondering how good a product the NBA is....good lord
At some point, I realized American sports have been complete ass overall this past year.
But Good God, there's two fukkin teams that matter in the NBA. TWO!! No matter what the Cavs do, this current roster can't beat those two for an entire series. Love is a brittle timid fakkit, LeBron is still a GOAT, but he's not the same level anymore, Kyrie ain't return to last year Kyrie yet, shot just isn't there yet.
Obviously Cavs are gonna make the Finals and will probably figure out some way to be elite again, but this is a season defining L. Not on the same plane as these bosses...

Watching the 1st quarter of the GS CLE game again, that shyt was straight ether. Like, the whole sequence when Delly got in, Steph crosses half court and pulls from bout 40 feet, makes it. Stares at Delly,, C Webb mentions the stare and I the midst of Webb talking Lebron locks arms with Steph and pushes him. Offensive foul. Webb talks about how he likes the push from Bron and Curry should not care cause he can't push him while shooting a 3. Soon as the camera goes back to the court all u see is Setph running thru an off ball screen, cayching a pass, and draining a 3 in Brons face.
