They have not had a top 20 player since the 90's, but were never bad enough to get a high draft pick. That's just awful management.

They prolly should've overpaid for Caroll to keep the team together, but, that may have perperutating the issue.

The problem is (and I lived in the ATL area over the last 4 yrs) ATL really think Bud and the "Spurs system" needs no superstars.

They don't understand why (star) players don't sign there, so they'll clung to the position of "Nah, we good--#teamball"

And I bet they (ATL radio and fans) won't learn their lesson. They won't let the idea of an elite Matt Ryan go. Let Teague leave, "Nah, we good, we got Shrouder and shooters (featuring an aging, injured Kyle Korver).
