All this garbage about what the Heat fans & players may think in regards to Joe Johnson contributions is insubstantial because at the end of the day if it doesn't translate into wins based on Johnson's overall performance & when his play on the court is actually needed & counts against top tier or decent teams.

It's not a contradiction, but a fact based on you trying to paint the position that Johnson's numbers are noteworthy & his play is making a difference for the Heat, when clearly both are not the case, especially when all the teams the Heat have played up to this point are/were .500 or below.

:heh:
Then explain to me why Wade and Dragic have both said how Johnson's "contributions" have been 'substantial' and Heat fans are saying the same thing too -
Joe has been both effective and efficient for us, I don't know what old boy is talking about. the loss tonight was not on him. the one problem was a miscommunication at the end of the game on defense between him and dwade thats it

dude has fit in perfectly:yeshrug:....gave us exactly what we needed and is one of the main reasons for the 5 game winning streak. this is the best our offense has looked all season. just the other night the heat put up their greatest fg% in franchise history. with joe I think we're a lock for the ECF.
This is clearly a case of YOU not knowing what the fukk you're talking about. Again. You can take this L now or come by and pick it up later. :manny:

I didn't watch the game tonight, but he's added a whole new element to their offense; Dragic and Wade have both spoken on what he's brought to the team. Furthermore they've had third best ORTG since acquiring him (24th ranked offense on the season). Why don't we see if Heat fans agree with your assessment of him being "trash & not effective":

How do the scoring numbers have "nothing and have little significance" when you only quote his scoring numbers? This is a blatant contradiction of your argument.

Here's the problem with this, besides the fact that he's a 4th/5th option and isn't going to put up big scoring #s (14 ppg on 60% shooting, playmaking and competent defense is great value from a role player) - you've now turned this from an argument of Kevin Martin being a better player to now that Johnson can only put up numbers against below-average teams. This tells me you're insinuating that K-Mart can be more effective against "premier, quality teams", when this couldn't be further from the truth.

The goal-post moving is on some :troll: shyt.

Joes pressence has made a difference. Even when he isn't scoring, just having a scoring option who knows where to be in the offense, and knows which spots to get to, and knows how to do the little things like setting screens, and knows how to play off the ball is comforting. Bad loss tonight, but Joes been great. Glad we have him.

We'll see how much of a difference maker Johnson is when it counts in the playoffs! :mjlol:

Love has dropped so low...this dude made a 3 and acted like it was a GW in the playoffs :snoop:

His defense is just horrid too. There were a couple of times where he was way out of position and running across court to get back to his man. That weight loss has ruined his game. He should've stuck to banging in the paint.

Yup..it reminds me of the time Lebron made this shot

I knew right then and there he wasn't ready for the next level

Loves going to definitely need to play much better if the Cavs are going to get back to the Finals.. Right now I have the Heat beating them in 7

Yet somebody that doesn't even watch the Heat play has a more informed opinion than the fans and the Heat players themselves? :heh:

:mjlol: Joe Johnson looks so great for the HEAT & is such a big difference maker against .500 sub-par NBA teams.
