If they had Melo, they can definitely adjust mins and have some starters play with bench..Austin Rivers isn't that big of a loss to me. Raymond Felton has been doing fine, and if Doc was a good gm he can definitely find gems like Lebron does. Look at how Griffin and Bron in Cleveland have done a great job of adding solid bench players for nothing. Clippers starting 5 with Melo would be stacked, + LA..guys would come here but Doc is terrible.
rivers has developed into a legit player in this league, but you gotta let him go for melo. im not really sure the knicks were really willing to let melo go for that package anyway. just a rumor IMO
you compare with what cleveland does because lebron is such a draw because hes a champion and an incredible play maker. he makes it so easy for everyone and players know that. also CLE is in the east. going to the clippers you still would have to get through GS, SA, Hou....

The three point shooting isn't the issue. The can chuck 60 threes for all i care. The issue with the rockets will be rebounder. Their most aggressive rebounder is Beverley which is a good and bad thing. The trade for Lou made us smaller. Part of me thinks that Houston was hoping that Brewer got waived or brought out to be brought back
