You forgot about Randle, Plumlee, and Ndour... and they're still the 10th oldest team in the NBA. Combination of Noah, Anthony and Lee are all at least 10 years older than Kristaps. Rose is seven years older than him. Starting lineup is :flabbynsick:
lm looking at the young cats, those vets will probably be gone in a year or two if not the off season.

Not gonna lie, y'all are fukked on that :noah: contract though.

I'm almost ready to call this the year that the Cavs don't make the Finals.

I don't give a shyt about their roster on paper. Their defense is historically bad.

If Lowry comes back well for the Raptors, and the Cavs have to play the Raptors in the ECSF then the Celtics in the ECF, I could see them losing either one of those series.

Has a team in the modern era EVER played defense this bad and still made the Finals? Lebron ain't gonna carry them through shyt if the other team is scoring 115 every game.

Boston can't beat Cleveland in a series unless the Cavs are decimated with injuries. Remember how Cleveland put Curry in pick and rolls all series? They'd abuse IT in the same way, only worse.

Washington and Toronto back-to-back would be interesting.

Boston is scoring more than 114 ppg against Cleveland this year. It would be a bunch of 115-113 games. But you're right, if Cleveland plays it smart, they "should" win.

I just think that the chances have to go against Lebron sooner or later. Lebron hasn't lost a series in the Eastern Conference since 2010. That's eighteen consecutive series. Everybody eventually gets beat by an underdog sooner or later. This feels like the year that the shine cracks.

Washington is interesting....I just don't trust them for some reason. I feel like they don't have as much of a chance, even if they might push it to 6 and lose all four games close. But that's more of a feeling than anything.

Cleveland has the Spurs, Boston, Washington, Toronto, Atlanta twice, Indiana, Miami, Chicago, and Charlotte before the season is up. Practically every one of their games is against a playoff team or a borderline playoff team. They better show what they got soon or their chance to gell is going to be up.

I mentioned a few months ago -
Believe me, LeBron leading the league in minutes will have an effect come postseason (he's averaging TWO minutes more than last year). And even if we were to ignore those long term postseason effects of his min averages; it doesn't bode well when this squad can't beat lottery teams on a regular basis with him playing nearly 40 mins a night. He was suppose to take a back seat this season and then ramp up his minutes near the back quarter - that hasn't happened - in fact it's been quite the opposite.

There's a # of teams in the East that can push them (even if not one team, but a three-team collective effort), certainly more than the Finals cakewalk they've essentially had for the last two years. If the Cavs keep continuing along this path with no squad alterations or notable improvements, they'll be gassed out before they even get to the Finals.

:manny:
I certainly have my doubts on whether they can put it together in time to make it back to the Finals. There's this common fictive that they're coasting, when it actuality they're lost, without an identity.

PnR won't work v. Horford but what will is abusing Boston on the glass. That's what will kill Boston

You're a weirdo.:gucci:

Regarding the frontcourt, the Knicks future is completely locked into a young and emerging Hernangomez and Porzingis as the starters.:comeon: @Serious makes a valid point about the direction of the NBA and mentioning the Knicks in reference to his point wasn't off.

You're a Knick fan and you're forcing your critique, breh.

Relax a little.:skip:
