Yes they would, if he were just average defensively they'd be better, we're talking about a team that has lost 19 games after leading by double digits. Their offense is top 10, their defense is 25th on the season, being average would mean they'd have the 15th best defense in the league and would have won more games as a result.

Porzingis is well above average defensively bordering on elite, Turner is better as well, AD has been excellent this year but offense for his team is the problem.

Lol you a funny nikka you wanna put him with the greats but now it's a burden for him to play defense. Name me one great center who didn't play defense. You think Shaq, Hakeem, Russel, wilt where like naw I gotta focus on offensive can't be wearing myself out on this defense thing. Embiid had no problem dropping 25 and locking nikkas up.
