I hope the voters throw the seeding in the bushes. Just give him the MVP. No human should have this much energy.

Yeah I can't see any voter not voting for Westbrook at this point outside of the Houston commentators/analysts (who gets votes as well).

He's definitely about to fit into this category of outlier MVP winners (From my post earlier this year where I did a statistical analysis on every MVP winner and a regression model to predict someone's chances of winning). He deserves it.

-Moses Malone won the 1981-82 MVP as 6th seed (46-36) putting up 31.1 points, 14.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Definitely an extreme outlier.

-The last player to win the MVP award with his team being seeded less than 2nd in his conference was Michael Jordan in the in 1987-88 season. His team was seeded 3rd (50-32) with him averaging 35, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists with 21.2 win shares, the 3rd highest PER of all time at 31.7 (only 2 Wilt seasons are better), 11.8 VORP and 12.2 BPM. Basically it took one of the greatest individual seasons in NBA history in order for voters to abandon the principle of voting for a player who is a top 2 seed in his conference. This may actually be a testament to MJ's greatness.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
time was running out :what: if the other team knows you have to shoot a 3, and you have no timeouts, you arent going to get a great look. its a desperation shot no matter what
I thought I seen 7 seconds left on the clock, I might be wrong doe. That's more than enough time to get a "better" look but not necessarily a "good" one if you know what I mean.

Brogdon making really great plays down the stretch. Goes without saying that the Bucks found their PG of the future
Saric is most likely going to win ROY, but Brogdon has impressed me. I didn't really know about him until a few weeks ago. He is going to be solid for a long time.

He actually reminds me of Andre Miller A LOT, but more athletic.

a better look for who ? roberson ? adams ? theres only 3 guys on the court they had to guard, and knew they were going for 3. in those situations the best look you are going to get is when the defense is still running back. you try and dribble around and set picks you will be lucky to even get a shot off since they only need to guard the 3 pt line, and will switch everything.

Very impressive by russ tonight but Harden still way above him for MVP, if he did this on the warriors instead of the Magic then he'd be having a legit shot

Like Harden was impressive last night against the Warriors or something?

Cleveland and Boston are probably worse. I make sure I use ILP whenever they're games are on to watch the other feed or just watch their home games on mute because I can't take it.
Yup they're the worst. I remember one time the Celtics announcers were comparing a play to plays from the 19 fukking 50's :mjlol: :dead:
The clippers bingo guy Lawler is annoying too

Thread should be renamed to Clipppers
Winning temporarily against the wizards before the fourth quarter comeback cause Chris paul will never win a championship thread .

:lupe:

Edit: never mind they were losing all the way

I wouldnt say he's as crafty as Andre Miller. He's been clutch like Andre though

Glad he fukkin made that shyt cause that was 100% trash basketball with the shot he took. I'm blowing that nikka shyt out if I'm KD and Russ takes a shot like that and misses. Not taking shyt away cause he made it, but that was an awful shot.

KD was terrible in the clutch last year, so were the Thunder as a whole.

This year, they're the best team in the clutch. :youngsabo:

I hate him too. I legit have the Wizards feed on right now vs the Clippers just because I can't take Lawler.
