Embiid has such monster big man potential.....there is just a fluidity there waiting to be harnessed

I had the Knicks-Cavs as my darkhorse ECF but so far the Knicks have me like ....


Kevin Love is looking really good in these first few games for the Cavs...if he has a bounce back year the Cavs are going to put the screw to teams.


I see people saying Justise Winslow is going to be a superstar....I dont know if that is homerism or the drugs talking

Hassan Whiteside as an all-star this year?? I dont see why not

@Raul where you at primo, this is a center that hadn't played a competitive game in 2 years. If he remains healthy that is a top 10 player, with drive he could be the best player in the league, period.

I'm glad he's doing well in games that matter.

Claim to be a basketball fan, but not be able to see talent just because it's preseason breh. Was the regular season going to stop him from being 7'2 280lbs, agile with a skillset ? Especially since he was doing it against starters (Drummond & Whiteside). All of his preseason projections are matching up with his regular season output right now

You keep harping on preseason as though it negates being able to see talent Enough of the baseball & handegg comparisons, NBA is a different sport. Seeing someone with Joel's skillset at his size should have been enough, those type of dudes do not fail and the only thing that will stop him are injuries.

You'd be that dude in 03 talking bout "I'm not taking some HS senior the hell kind of name is LeBron anyway? give me Josh Howard, I seen him do it against NCAA players"

I'm not going through that thread again, but you tried to act like doing shyt against Hassan Whiteside & Andre Drummond in preseason would have no bearing on the regular season, like being 7'2" 280lbs would somehow stop being relevant when the regular seaosn rolled around, nevermind the fact he was bodying up starting centers like Whiteside and Drummond.

You don't need to see someone in the regular season when their talent is basically overwhelming, he could have been playing against HS kids and it wouldn't changed the fact his skillset is more advanced than 99% of the bigs in the league, and he's bigger than 99% of the centers in the league ontop of it. Now you're doubling down on that position, as though we haven't seen elite talent come through the NBA and knew they'd be good before they even played a single game

First and foremost, we gonna act like you haven't been @'ing me about Embiid, now that I do it to you, you getting all sad? What part of the game is that

Second, by constantly saying "I need to see it in a game that matters" you basically just say you have no ability for talent evaluation when it comes to watching NBA players @Gil Scott-Heroin is my mans, bless him wherever he is, and we miss him.
