The Knicks didn't have guards as good as .... they didn't have good guards and the Lakers are a well documented clusterfukk. Before Anthony (I swear people don't remember the Knicks before Carmelo) Chandler, McGrady, and Gallinari were all trying the same shyt as the old PHX teams. They just weren't as good.

D'Antoni got the most out of Felton's dumbass in NY by making sure he got the ball ASAP on the break. Just that alone got him a career high assist numbers.

All through Pringles best years in Phoenix he had versatile ballhandlers pushing the ball whenever possible. The Johnsons, Diaw, Matrix... if you could push the ball and could crash the board? Pringles made you look good.
