We will see if Lacob will pay...He has had some luck contract wise thus far.....But the coming years will determine how much tax he is willing to pay...

My guess is that he does pay the tax.....but I wouldnt say that it is a guarantee.....

oh and basing Klay's production on preseason games is fukking ridiculous

I know you fellas are smarter than that so I am not sure why yall even saying it...

My guess would be that Draymond eats last in that offense but if Klay has a increase in usage this season I would be very surprised....

That was a great play by Mozzy.....

Regarding contracts, I'm not worried. We've got Klay/Dray locked in, Steph will get done next summer (and likely KD gets done then too if he chooses).

Just saw Harrison Barnes preseason numbers..... yeah he's in for a rough year.

He's actually being defended now. Many feared that he only did well with the Warriors because of the rest of the team's gravity. Defenders would cheat off Barnes to go double somebody else. He'd get their worst defenders because he was the lowest threat. This gave him a lot of open shots because he was the smallest threat on the court.

Now with the Mavs he is the man. He's the guy defenders are prioritizing. He was always bad at creating his own shots and up until now he never had to. Good supporting player who can give you some quality minutes but not a max contract build a franchise around him star.

Hate it had to be him.................................

Like there were A LOT of bad contracts given out this summer. But I really think his may be the worst. He's been living off his HS hype for a half a decade and dude wan't even great at shooting wide open corner 3's as he played with two all time great shooters. So I'm not sure what Cuban saw that made him think he's worth 94 mill.

Well heavy is the head that wears the crown

Franchise players are rare for a reason

If you have trouble creating your own shot...get better moving without the ball......practise becoming a better catch and shoot player.

Learn to be become a better cutter....use some ball fakes

Hire a coach who will break down just your footage alone and work on cutting down some of your weaknesses

Barnes is getting paid 94 million. so he can afford a shooting coach....gotta become a gym rat

Desperation. Cuban has been trying for years to make a big splash in free agency and failing. They gutted their championship team to go after Deron & Dwight and got paid dust by both, DeAndre played them, Parsons was a flop. Now they're hoping Barnes will be another Harden or Reggie Jackson. But like you said, Barnes has been living off HS hype since he got to North Carolina.

wolves need a decent backup PG bad or they're gonna have to run their starters into the ground to sniff the playoffs. Jones is heady and poised enough, but still too weak and unathletic. Dunn is incredibly shaky/lost so far (those turnovers in college always concerned me) and can't shoot either. In fact, bjelica is playing point almost better than him when he has the chance to bring the ball up. They should've nabbed quinn cook; he plays D and is a great shooter. Someone like that who can initiate offense with low turnovers but also keep the floor spaced/defense honest with his shooting is exactly what they need.
