Thing is, part of the reason the Warriors got destroyed is one of the weaknesses everyone has known about for a minute.....they got absolutely molested in the paint and on the boards.

55 to 35 on the glass, 21 offensive rebounds :wow: that power game the Spurs got over them ain't going away, and the Cavs are monsters on the boards as well.

That's what I tried telling dudes about the Cavs last season, they were going to dominate on the boards against GS but everyone said that shyt doesn't matter :francis:

If Curry doesn't get hurt, it probably doesn't matter.

It seems like an excuse because he was out there but it's a valid one. He wasn't the same guy.

They're only saving grace is finding a rim protecting big off the bargain bin on some Miami Heat/Whiteside shyt. :ld:

They wont be able to find that type of player, I figured they'd have a similar run as the first year Heat when they gutted their squad to get Bosh & Bron, their talent made them contenders but they had major holes that needed to be addressed in the offseason. I think the Warriors could win the title, but they were a more complete team last year and will need an offseason getting guys on MLEs to turn into what everyone thinks they will be.

The Cavs and Spurs will destroy them on the glass and in the paint.

people often talk about role players and glue guys

Richard Jefferson is lowkey one of the best fits for the Cavs.....even tempered...doesnt try to do too much...comes in and plays hard...can give them big minutes in a pinch if foul trouble occurs for somebody else

Reminds me a lot of what Shane Battier did for those Miami Heat teams

Him & PG 13 together:wow:
Spurs pulled a damm heist on the pacers

Breh Kawhi is such a good shooter now he can play the 2

Could you imagine PG at the 3 with Kawhi at the 2...

I swear we need a "these guys where almost teammates" thread for the nba...

@Malta it will NEVER stop hurting that the Spurs were one pick away from Gobert...:mjcry:

One pick away from the best defender in the game and the best rim protector in the game...:mjcry:

fukk the jazz :mjcry:
