No it is not about recognizing the best players in the league, that is what the all nba teams are for. All star game is about fans picking who they want to see from each conference go face off against each other. It is SUPPOSED to be entertaining for the fans that vote these guys in, not for them to do fukk all the entire game. Again I don't expect it to be anything like a real game, but the game has regressed a lot in recent years and is unwatchable at this point.
