Secretly hoping Boogie doesn't workout for Pelicans so he can come to Lakers in 2018 for free

I love Russ but if he wins MVP then the system is completely broken, random,
completely based on narratives and almost needs to be redefined.

There almost needs to be guidelines based on how the media votes because you can't have years where Kobe averages 35 and takes a team to the playoffs but is 4th in MVP voting because of wins and seeding (which seems to be the biggest factor) and then give it to Russ because he averages a triple double despite being a 7th seed.

This isn't to say Russ isn't deserving but the whole thing just seems disingenuous. People use the teammates argument and then turn around and have the biggest factor in voting be wins. Something needs to be reworked.

Said that after their last matchup.

It's the best possible series because you know Westbrook/Harden are just going to put up some ridiculous performances.
nah Roberson will lock harden up as usual

Pelicans are going to have a time trying to get decent wing players if Holiday & Boogie stick around. Don't know why the cut Casspi when he's a solid bench piece they could have kept. I know he's pretty much done for the year but they should have cut DMo before him since they had bird rights for Casspi & by the time they pay Holiday their pretty much capped out.

They vote however they want.

With that said, Westbrook isn't gonna win MVP.
