Give me a good reason why I should bring up "stats" when you'll just dismiss them, as you do with most of my posts?so nothing . thanks

It's not unnecessary at all, especially when folk are using the fact he's averaging a triple double as if it's an accurate measurement of impact (over others who have been arguably playing better this season and in the past).

Westbrook is surrounded by elite defenders![]()

if anyone i surrounded with shooters its harden.
Equally fair? Nah. Because points/percentages and how a player's surrounding teammates affect those areas are diferent to how one gathers uncontested rebounds. But it is important to put every box score stat into context. Which folk aren't doing when it comes to Westbrook averaging a triple double. On a similar note: Kawhi is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and is one of the best rebounding wings in the league, yet somehow just because the box score doesn't tell you these things, that his impact isn't to the standard in which it would be if he were averaging a triple double. If you find it necessary to nitpick Westbrook's rebounds, then it would be equally fair to nitpick every single player's shooting percentage as well as points to see how easily they get them due to the teammates their surrounded by.![]()
