for jovic claim of a mismatch still took a lot of work for a shaky looking hookshot:yeshrug:

If the cave actually made effort with defense like Bron tried there they would already have 50+ wins and not have to come back from deficits most games
Of course it took a lot of work Bron fouled him multiple times on the play

Something that has been on my mind lately brehs.

The Pelicans have won 5 out of their last 6, but it's starting to become apparent to me that maybe DeMarcus Cousins is indeed a legit #1 or 1A in this league?

I had my doubts when he was on the Kings, but I am now starting to have doubts about my doubts :jbhmm:

It looks like Davis-Cousins might be able to work after all. I am still mad that a true Center has such a bad field goal percentage and takes too many 3 pointers, but whatever.

It was always going to work, they just need to get some better wing players around them. Just some good 3 & D guys and they will be a force.

I think it's hilarious that everyone thinks quality 3 and D grow on trees. Everywhere you go you see fans/analysts/whatever say "all they need is a 3 and D wing" or "a 4 that can hit 3's and defend". If you made a list of players that provide both great 3 point shooting with good-great defense the list wouldn't be that long and most of the players would likely already be the role players on good teams.

It's also why I'm upset that Ariza both got underpaid and overlooked by the Lakers and then 3 years later we ended up with the corpse of Deng. :mjcry:

It's actually pretty impressive it's clicking for them this quickly. Really tough to incorporate a front court like that on the fly in the middle of a season. They've barely had any practice time. If they can add some more perimeter talent in the offseason, they should be in the playoffs next year.

They need to do something about some of their terrible contracts. Hill, Asik, Moore, and ajinca.

Even in a down year the West is 11 deep.
