Offenses in the early 2000s were inefficient. ISO heavy, low percentage shots, poor free throw shooting


You know, teams scoring 95ppg then, nobody wants to see that shyt.

It's amazing to me that the ORTG this year (108.7) is slightly higher than it was 30 years ago (108.3) during the supposed "Golden era" of basketball, yet people try to find reasons to shyt on the game today while worshiping the game of the 80s.

If you go back and watch a lot of the games.. the defense wasn't all that great. Yea guys would get knocked on their ass more often if they beat their guy and got to the lane, but some of the same softness the old timers complain about was exactly the same back then.

Ray Allen is nowhere near KG as a player, neither is Pierce. KG is a top 25 player of All-Time and was far more impactful than both.
