Tyreke was a PG last go around he was in Sacramento. They brought him back to be more of a SF because of his size. He's more of a role player barring another injury or him leaving in the off season.

They wanna build around Buddy Hield but it will be a while before they give him full reign . I just don't know why they don't just do it now.

I don't think they have the guy who they want to build around yet but they do view Buddy as a piece going forward.

How do yall differentiate a players actual progress during the season vs it being late in the season and no one really caring as much. I call it the Anthony Randolph syndrome where bum ass niccas don't really do shyt until the end of the season where they start putting up numbers. How many of these guys on hot streaks gonna really carry it over onto the next season?

Damn, the east seeding may literally come down to the last couple of games

Why is Chicago trying to get into the playoffs?
What do you mean why are they trying to get into the playoffs? The players want this

The front office did what they could to tank btw. Moved Taj for trash, forced Hoiberg to bench Rondo/Niko for extended time

Wade being hurt has allowed the ball to flow better offensively and had allow Rondo to actually do some good things

I know he's hurt. But what about Bender :jbhmm:

Wish he didn't get injured.Missing out on valuable development time.

When he did play, I remember being impressed with his defensive instincts/passing ability.

Think he's going to turn into a pretty good 3pt shooter, also.

Once he gets stronger, I see the Suns playing him at Center.

Him and Chriss could be a dynamic "new age" front court.

Vivek definitely sees him as more than a piece, the main reason they pulled the trigger on that seemingly lopsided deal sending Boogie to another team with a brighter future in the same conference. He basically thinks Hield will become the next Steph, in addition to kinda being personally infatuated with him for some reason.

Not 100% accurate but I say a good general rule of thumb is the younger the player, the more faith I have that the progress is likely to pick up and continue forward after a good final stretch of the previous season.

And obviously any guy with immediate financial incentive to play his heart out should be regarded as a possible risk of "playing for the contract", though occassionally those do pan out as well.
