Nah he's right. The bench played better when it was staggered with Melo. Melo was also in a nice groove shooting wise during this period. Plus Pattrick Patterson has been playing like absolute shyt for most of the season and Jerian Grant is not a good shooter so making them start doesn't do much aside from maybe better defense (Melo has been playing at least decent defense though). The season is still early so Melo could possibly be exiting his current shooting slump. There are still 53 games left for Melo to turn his shooting around.
