Seems their issues were largely growing pains and Russ trying too hard to be deferential with his new "all-star" teammates. Just like Bron on the Heat, they look like they're putting it together now that Russ has resumed his alpha role.

That and i think he was out of shape. Missing training camp with prp injections set him back
