That is what you just said, you were trying to downplay his impact. You remove Embiid from that team and they are a lottery squad, period. Right now, he is the biggest reason they are a playoff team, that will change in the future as Simmons, Fultz and Saric develop but JoJo is the reason they are where they are today.
I have said good things about Simmons defense, but the lack of a jumper keeps me from really enjoying his game and that Bucks game was a perfect example of it. You talking about his 14ast game vs the Bucks, yet Giannis ate his lunch, and the fact he can't shoot killed their spacing with constant doubles and shading on Embiid.

If he never gets a shot he's still special. He's a PG at 6'10 playing elite defense and putting up 16 8 8. He can average that for the rest of his career and that's a success

Whenever he does something well it's great, then when he fukks up you'll say "he's a rookie" even though he's 2-3 years older than most of the rookies? His game has some serious warts to it, no matter how much you don't want to admit it. And it's a joke that you tried to put him on equal footing as Embiid in terms of why the Sixers are good.
Did Rondo inability to shoot stop him from creating for others? 76ers have shooters. Reddikk, Saric, Belinili, Embid, McConnel all can shoot. It'll be up to Brown how he sets things up. And that doesn't minimizes Simmon's impact he's still goin to create for others while getting 15 pts 8 rebounds. This is a young team, what you think they're going to make a run?
