If the Kings wind up drafting Michael Porter Jr, I wouldn't mind if they handled him the same way they did Harry Giles. Let Porter get fully healthy and focus on nothing but rehab and basketball. I think Giles is going to surprise people next year. Kings will be trash again next season regardless and won't have a pick so sitting MPJ isn't even an awful idea.

I hope so. as far as pure talent, he's the best player in his class. the game needs him.

So Budenholzer pulled out of consideration for the Suns job once he found out the Suns were interviewing Fizdale. I guess he just expected to have the job and have the Suns cancel the rest of the interviews.
