My projection preseason for the Clippers defense -

Clippers will probably end up having a top-5 defense this season; strong defenders at 3 of the 5 starting spots, and BG can hold his own too.

They currently have the #1 defense by a HUGE margin, and it'll be even greater after tonight's game is factored in. Kind of funny how their defense is on another level to what it was last season after losing supposedly the 'best defensive PG in the league'.

Yo jr smith went 1-8 with 3 points tonight. I know that's typical for his sorry ass but what's the point of being in the staring line up again?

Because even if he doesn't hit shots, he still plays defense and spaces the floor as good or better than anyone else the Cavs have at SG.

A good night for JR can be game-changing, a bad night for JR still keeps your team moving on both ends.

Meanwhile, Wade looked much more comfortable running with the second unit too.

It's going to be a win-win.

It annoys me to see Joe Johnson guarding Blake im the post and him doing nothing. How is this still possible

The 1 shot he should have perfected is a turnaround J from the post. I dont think I've ever seen him catch it on the block and just turn around and hit a J.

I'll wait. Last year we had a huge comeback against the Bulls and we had a larger point differential than the 15-16 warriors through the first couple of weeks. I'm not sold on Blake staying healthy tbh.
