What is up with Russ finishing ability?

Jokic with an efficient 39 pts, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks on 15-24 shooting.in 31 minutes so far. Denver got them a good one.
Man Jokic is a damn offensive force and is only 22 years old, and offensively he doesn't get the mainstream versatile "unicorn" props that fellow perimeter capable bigs Porzingis, Embiid and Towns get.
Jokic is shooting 43% from 3 and 92% from the line this season. I see why KD recently gave him props about his high potential in this league.

He has always been trash near the rim unless it was a dunk.
Pretty sure I brought it up before. He is ALWAYS missing layups and shyt.
I like Donovan Mitchells game a lot, but dude's green light for a rookie is ridiculous 
8 turnovers in 21 minutes for D'Angelo Russell. I don't care what his final stats end up on the season, he's not that good and his impact on the game is minimal. The ultimate good stats on a bad team guy.

He's becoming a caricature of his play for triple-doubles. Like now it just seems that's his ONLY focus, whereas although it did dominate his play last season, he still had an insane amount of impact.That's because he can't just play Russ Ball likes he's used to doing.
