Weren't you one of the ones claiming CP3 was holding him back? A statement I actually agreed with, but I don't know. After that hot start the beige cat looks kinda funny out there lately :patrice:
You're not going to see Blake attacking the rim like he used to because of all the injuries he's had. Second of all, THREE of the Clippers starters are out, all of whom are perimeter players. Of course, Blake's not going to look at his best playing with the worst 1-3 starters in the league (Rivers, Thornwell and W.Johnson). 98% of big men in the league would look the same playing next to those three, because none of them can run an offense, and Blake is forced to create all his scoring opportunities himself.

4th, but only cause he plays less minutes.

I will say, he's starting to get his legs back, I don't remember him dunking this much under the rim last year. Everything was a layup, now he's flushing it.
That + confidence his foot is not going to shatter. Was always going to take some time. I expect him and Simmons to have a real nice groove out there.

I am just hoping Fultz comes back soon because believers of the process deserve to see this in action. It's been a long time coming.

You had a guy that could run an offense pretty good and you thought he was holding back Blake from running the offense :skip:
Blake plays better with a guard who doesn't dominate the ball, and actually can play PG. His two starting PGs/guards, Pat Bev and Teodosic have been out injured. Blake now has Austin Rivers running the offense, do I need to state the obvious.

But why doesnt Blake just facilitate and show off his playmaking ability? Thats all I heard about from dummies arguing Paul was holding Blake back...

:heh:

He has been, but there's only so much playmaking/facilitating you can do when you have the worst offensive starting 1-3 in the league. CP3 was definitely holding him back, but having Austin Rivers as his starting PG is actually pushing him back.

Watch the games, and smarten up.
