No tanking team has a max contract. Max contracts put a limit to how many assets you can hold. They should trade Barnes for assets.

Mark isnt tanking he just doesnt know any better. After dirk retires they should be a better team off the strength of them not having a corpse playing defense on the pnr

They are not trading PG after Russ just signed an extension. Use your brain. Russ and entire org are going to try everything they can for the whole year to get him to stay. There is no chance in hell they give up on this before the deadline.

Not maxing a 22 year old Harden who was three years deep in the league is nowhere near the same situation as having Paul George being a free agent next year who never had OKC as one of his destinations when he wanted a trade in the first place

Okc don't know who's to build around Westbrook.

It's crazy the list of players who Westbrook is going to have had around him by the time his career over.

Already played with Durant, Carmelo, PG13, Harden, Ibaka, Oladipo...nearly always had 2-3 of those guys at once.

Not to mention all the other wings they had to fill out the roster in Jeff Green, Thabo, Reggie Jackson, Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, Caron Butler, Roberson, Waiters, McDermott, Felton....not saying those players are hot but you're doing well when guys like that are your 4th and 5th options on the perimeter.

And even a fair collection of bigs for both the starting lineup and the bench - usually had at least two of Adams, Kanter, Perkins, Nazr Mohammed, Sabonis, Collison, Taj Gibson, in addition to Ibaka.

The variety of talent that Westbrook has gotten the chance to play with in his first 10 years in the league rivals anyone in recent history.

I hope Aldridge doesn't start bytching when Kawhi comes back and his role is delegated..

He shouldn't...cause Pop is going to be smart enough to keep making LMA the focal point of the offense :hubie:

We seen how it looked with LMA as a number 2...not good...

For us to win that chip Kawhi going to have to be 1b or 2 on offense...:hubie:

Yeah its pretty crazy. I dunno bout Westbrook man. Dude just had bad habits.
Say you messing around every week and shoot step back 3s over your kid brother. You develop a bad habit that's hard to shake. When I watch Westbrook I get that sense. Like some games he plays so beautifully. But for the most part he just has headscratching decisions

Since we're including players without any sort of context, Lebron's list puts Westbrook to shame. He even had SHAQ and couldn't do shyt with him. :wow:

You and your dumb fukk posts about Westbrook are pathetic.
