Yeah I love that approach. Why rush it. Hell I wouldn't be mad if teams did that with healthy rookies. Just take a year to work on their bodies and strengthen them while having them practice with the team.
Trading Kemba is the right move for both sides. The team has been treadmilling with him for years with no hope of contending, and he himself deserves that chance to compete. He might like having his own team but they are going to possibly give him the opportunity to contend in his prime years which is all you can ask for.

I could definitely see Cleveland getting Dwight. Don't think they can get Kemba without giving up the Nets pick which I don't think they want to trade.
