Yeah this needs to happen but I can see why travel would be the biggest hurdle. Case in point if the season ended today we’d have a Boston/Portland first round series

The playoffs is already too long. Especially when you already know who is going to win.

1-16 seeding can create matchups that make it much more difficult for top teams and make for better series. You dont think OKC/HOU/MN couldnt beat CLE/TOR/BOS? Wouldnt you rather see those teams play against each other rather than them sonning a team like Utah or Memphis every year?

If the nba went 1-16 without conferences Get rid of the unnecessary 7 game 1st round series and make it 5 games like it use to be

and make the format 2-3, the team with the better record gets the 3 games at home that eliminates travel issues and doesn't drag it out 2- 3 weeks

I mean I don't include OKC into a big three and I know none of those eastern team could beat HOU/GSW other than CLE and even then Golden state is supposed to win regardless of who comes out of the east anyway so YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED

Again, would you rather see those teams play each other or beat up on trash ass teams like utah every year?

Nevermind who you think will win it all, theres a favorite every year. This is more about the road to the finals, rather than who will win it all.

No, and 1-16 seeding doesn't guarantee those matchups if you get what I'm saying.

Yes it does. And as it stands you NEVER get those matchups, with 1-16 you get an opportunity to see them. It completely opens up the second round, instead of a matchup like MIN/POR that now becomes MIN/BOS or instead of SA/DEN that becomes SA/MIL.

It obviously brings more entertaining series. I really dont know why your arguing it

Because a second series round with the trashtors or a okc/ celtics 2nd round doesn't interest me at all. I don't watch eastern conference playoffs for a reaosn regardless of the matchups. And for good reason. I don't know you're arguing it.
