They've been talking about stuff like that for a while but the truth is, Memphis sucks. Good teams aren't tanking, the shytty teams who lose most of their games anyway are just playing out a season that was already over for them months ago.

If you bring in that new idea, good teams can jump in. Ask Denver or LAC if they'd rather play a series against Hou/ GS for a quick exit or a round Robin against trash like the Lakers/Kings/Grizzlies for a #1 overall.
