Can someone explain why the Thunder aren't dropping down to 7th to get a Curry-less Warriors squad in round 1? I think they'd beat them to be honest.

VORP & BPM Twitter are gonna have a meltdown over KD clowning them and saying to use the eye test.

He sounded really uninformed and downright ignorant talking about how much he hates TS% but likes FG%.

Would be nice if someone could explain it to him so he doesn't sound so stupid.

Most people criticizing analytics are just ignorant and dismissive.

The funny thing is people who use analytics tend to believe in the eye test as well and don't see analytics as the whole picture but rather a tool to help you see the picture.

That's the thing, I've legit never seen anyone who supports analytics say that numbers are more important than watching games. And I don't even really care about RPM or win shares or whatever, but still... it's a completely made up narrative.

Going to need 2 of these next 3.

I think they can do it. They could very easily be on an 8 game win streak right now if it wasn't for the brain fart against Boston with 10 secs left and the Portland game was there for the taking in the closing minute. They've been playing well enough over the last month and a half to win every game. And they've been doing it with Melo and George mostly underperforming for most of this latest stretch.

That doesn't work as well when Love is out there though, it's much harder to defend high screens when Love is the one setting the screen.
