NBA needs to hurry up and institute the challenge flag idea they've been feeling out in exhibition games, etc.
As it stands, the current rule seems to be "If the players, coach and crowd all make enough noise after a questionable play, and if it's a team the refs feel like giving the benefit of the doubt, then they may decide to stop the game and review the play if they feel like it."
That's a pretty shytty rule of thumb.
