The Hawks wanted the one with the most potential. I felt like that's who they drafted. They clearly felt Doncic was better or else they would have drafted him instead of getting an extra 1st in this year's draft. I wanted Doncic more. I've said it time and time again during the process. But I didn't have Luka being the one with a higher ceiling. I had Trae having the 2nd highest ceiling. Bagley having the highest. That said, I fukk with Luka. Always have, always will. But it annoys me to see some Hawks and Mavs fans trying to make this a rivalry when it's not.

It's a rivalry cause one of Hawkset boys made a thread to shyt on Doncic and posture as if the Hawks fleeced the Mavs. Immediately after the deal.
