Klay six years younger and without major injuries to both lower limbs. Also Barnes better than Wiggins/Oubre. Plus they had a competent bench with Livingston, Iggy, West, etc.

Wiggins is starting to look like what Barnes should've been for the Warriors.
His inconsistent scoring output is always going to be one of his foibles, but the mental problem-solving of the game is something he's notably improved in, which Barnes never even looked like figuring out.

Probably gotta wait for the trade deadline. By then we'll know what teams are desperate enough for assets to be the third wheel in a deal.
There was a report a couple weeks ago that Denver was willing to be a 3rd team in a Harden deal.. not to acquire James but to snatch up any quality role players that'd be on the table.

I think Klay will come back alright since his game was never based on athleticism or any kind of explosion. As long as he still has that quick release, he should be good. The pre-KD Warriors were a little deeper but this team has some more explosive pieces with Wiseman, Wiggins and Oubre. Those three are more athletic than anybody Steph had before with MAYBE the exception of first or second year Iggy.

Klay has blown his knee and Achilles in consecutive seasons. By the time he's back it will be at least 2.5 years since he played at NBA speed in a game....
