The jumper is the least of his worries he has already proven he can be an effective high volume C&S guy.
He will be mid as long as his mentality is p*ssy he lacks confidence and his biggest weakness is his slashing. He needs to have more of a scorer’s mentality he fears going to the cup he loves letting threes fly.

His form and jumper has been fixed, his issues are that he can't do anything other than shoot 3s. His handles are bad, when he drives inside 80% of the time he is passing. LaMelo is better at those two aspects and that is why he is much more effective in half court setting
