If you replace those 19 useless minutes of Nico Melli with Wenyen Gabriel and take away a few phantom fouls on Peg Leg we might've actually won this :heh: Don't know why he's even on the roster if we're not gonna play him even a literal minute :unimpressed:

He’s not nearly this good every night and he’s undersized. Lonzo isn’t going anywhere.
Of course he’s not this good. That’s not the point. What he provides NO is exactly what they need. They lack a guard who can penetrate and score. That opens up the game for BI and Zion because Lonzo getting parked in the corner while not being a shooting threat packs the paint. Not to mention Lonzo is going to be a free agent and his price tag may be too costly when they have a guard behind him who is more suitable for them.

I don't think there is a single team wanting to buy into Lonzo right now.

Lonzo is definitely going anywhere on the first flight outta here at the deadline if he and his agents continue to delude themselves into thinking he's a $25+ million a year player like Jamal Murray, Tatum, Brown, etc. All jokes aside I like the kid, but he needs to understand he is never going to be anything but a roleplayer in the league and tailor his future career expectations and wage demands to that reality fast if he wants to stay on this team with his old Laker pals :yeshrug:

That sounds good in theory until he ends up on the scouting report and teams actually plan for him. He’s an undersized scoring guard which come a dime a dozen. He’s definitely got a nice game but if he’s not looking to get guys the ball in their spots, he can’t be the point guard. Ingram and Zion have to eat first.

He’s a much better scorer and penetrator than Lonzo I don’t know if he’s the kind of starting PG they need. I’d start him over Bledsoe at the 2 though any day of the week
