Edit: Just realized the conferences would be imbalanced as this would give the East 17 teams...so how about just moving Memphis and then splitting the divisions into fours. So you got

West: Northwest (Portland, Seattle, Minnesota, Vegas), Mountains (Utah, Denver, OKC, Phoenix), Southwest (Texas + NOLA), and then the Californias

East: Atlantic (NY, Brooklyn, Boston, Philly), Lakes (Toronto, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee), Central (Chicago, Indiana, Memphis, DC), and Southeast (Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, Miami)

they are adding two teams to the west though. In Vegas and Seattle.

I don’t even think it’s that. Whether this team wins it all will always comeback to their Achilles heel...consistent defensive effort. The same as last regular season & the bubble. They started this game with no effort then clawed their way back into it followed by losing at when the bench came in at the top of the 4th. I like Lue’s offensive approach and they’re sharing the ball. I really like what I’ve seen so far from this team so we’ll have to see once Morris is back
